Brazilian fruits, guava, caqui, cashew...

Fruits from Brazil.

All these fruits you'll find in Brazil.

Papaya - We usually call papaya in Brazil only the small specie. This big we call "mamão formoso" which means lovely "mamão" in english. It's very sweet too. Rich in vitamins A, B, C, and phosphorus.

Bananas - Different species you see in Brazil, mainly 5 species. The most popular fruit in the world. This is called "prata", meaning silver. It's less sweeter, and easy to digest than the exportation specie. Rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and potassium.

Mango - Again, this is just one kind of mango we find in Brazil. At least 7, but this is "rosa", means pink. Smells so good... Rich in vitamins A, B, C and calcium.

Apple - Produced in southerns States of Brazil, the Gala specie is smaller the one we find in the US.

Avocado - Similar, but not so buttery as we eat in the US. We also have more species, and a bigger specie too. Rich in vitamin E and protein.

Guava - I've never seeing this fruit in the US. It has a yellow/green exterior, but a pink or white interior. It smells good too! Rich in vitamin A, B, C and iron.

Cashew apple - It's a false fruit originally native to northeastern of Brazil. We find the nuts easily in the US. Vitamins A, B, C and it's antioxidant.

Caqui or kaki - This is another fruit I never saw in the US. It grows in a tree, and its very tasty. Nowadays we find 2 species in Brazil, they are all rich in vitamin A, C, and alkalize the body.
