Are you really drinking tea?

Star anise tea.

Many times we think we are drinking a good tea which is cozy and healthy, right? Think again? What is in your tea?

After Starbucks had bought the biggest tea Company in China, called Teavana, Glaucus Research did a research in those herbs. They had tested 13 of those big brands sold in the US and 100% tested positive for pesticides. Numerous traces of Bifenthrin Cypermenthrin, Dimethoate Dicofol Fipronil, Carbendazim/Bnmyl, Tebuconazole Fenbuconazole. Those are EPA Group C, which means possibly Carcinogenic to Humans: Agents with limited animal evidence and little or no human data.

- Monkey picked Oolong (China) the most popular end expensive was the dirtiest with 23 pesticides. 7 of these exceeded the EU residue limits of 4400% .

- Gyokuro Imperial (Japan Green Tea), 18 pesticides, 2 EPA Group C, and 3300% above EU pesticide limits.

- Sencha Jade Reserve (Japan Green Tea) 18 pesticides, 3 EPA Group C, and 5600% above EU pesticides limits.

- Emperor's Clouds and Mist (China Green Tea) 12 pesticides, 4 EPA Group C, and 200% above EU pesticide limits.

More data:
- 77% samples failed even in the European pesticide standards, which is much more simple than the EU standart*.
- 61% with traces of Endosulfan, a banned one in the US.

*USDA has 12 steps vs. EU Certification, 120 check points.
