A true olive oil at Trader Joe's

Since we arrived here I'm looking for a good olive oil. Not any olive oil, but a very good one.

If you are American, chances are that you've never tasted a true olive oil. I don't know why, but the most of olive oils here in the US are not olive oil at all. My first guess about this issue was the smell, the second an allergic reaction, and finally because we never found the acidity in a bottle. The confirmation was in an old article in The New Yorker website The trade in adulterated olive oil by Tom Mueller.

So, last week, hubby was able to find this 100% Greek Olive Oil, cold compressed at Trader Joe's. It's good as the Portuguese oils we find everywhere in Brazil. No reactions, good smell and color and just perfect in any salad!

The important number is there, finally!
