Wondering why Coca-Cola just has launch a green version in Argentina?

New green label, green bottle and different approach to the future.

Since 1920 Coke has a red label, but not anymore. This green label was launch in Argentina as part of a new strategy of Coca-Cola products. Also it's 64 calories (one can) versus 140 you drink in a regular coke. It's a "green" label as well, and besides the 30% natural material for the bottle, it's sweetened with Stevia.

All this change is made because after years of scientific researches linking sugar and obesity in the world Coke decided to do something about it. High fructose corn syrup (HFCS), fructose, sucrose are directly related with increasing weight worldwide. Right now, in the US one-half of the population above 20 years old, both woman and man, are overweight.

This is not only about sodas, but they're playing the evil in this story. Studies have shown our body process sugary drinks differently than just more food or sugary foods. For example drinking soda right before, or together a meal, makes our body gets calories from both, soda and food. But having the meal first makes our body compensates calories, getting only what else is needed, if so.

Anyways, this is the advertising Coke's presented in Argentina. The country selected to test this new product.
