A Brazilian artist in Charlotte, Henrique Oliveira

Henrique Oliveira

Henrique Oliveira is a Brazilian artist who creates architectural structures exploring a larger scale in a visceral way. Organic, dramatic, blowing from corners, stretching from ceiling to provoke rebuilding the space around us.

He is doing an exhibition at Charlotte, NC. Called “FASCIA” it's at Projective Eye Gallery, UNC Charlotte Center City from 6 to 8 p.m., since Friday, January 31 through March 12.

Because he's known for creating monumental installations with a voluptuous magnificence. I'm sure he will cover the 22-foot gallery with colors and textures to confront viewers with recycled, locally sourced laminate wood.

Enjoy his best pieces.
