Himalayan pink salt.

You may know about the corn in the iodized salt, right?

Yes, all iodized salt have corn. In fact, iodized salt has dextrose. Dextrose is a type of sugar, corn sugar. Even the healthier versions of sea salt contains dextrose which is made with sugar. Few people say dextrose is an anti-caking agent, others say it's used to stabilize the iodine, and it may masks the taste of the iodine.

Iodine was added to salt in the 1920's to benefit the thyroid and prevent goiters. Since everyone uses salt, the US decided this as the best way to delivery iodine to population.

So, a great option for a corn allergic person is a Himalayan pink salt.
