Fucked up, I have nothing to gain nothing to lose.

"I have nothing to gain nothing to lose." Jonathan Adler

This is what Jonathan Adler was thinking when he started a business in pottery. Also using his full creativity since the beginning of his career. With no strategy at all, following his heart, and gut.

Before that he was 26 and fired, many times from many different companies. Always because he wasn't good, or he wasn't doing anything there besides sleeping with everybody. Even before that, when he finished college he'd asked his pottery teacher if she thought he could be a potter. "No, you suck!" - was the answer.

Well, long story short, years latter he was doing not just pots, but also interior design, and writing books about that. He'd opened his first boutique in Manhattan, and today he's 26 stores worldwide. Take a look in his store here.

What I like about him? He's influences are pretty much from Modern Art and Pop Culture.

What else? Interior design used to have a gender feeling, female or male. It doesn't after him.

Everything in this room is from his store, and this gold banana... what a fancy touch.

These are his brand-new furnitures.

A metal horn in your living room? You'll need a bold style to use it.

Modern animals as vases, or not.

What a nice collection!

Giant erases, why not?

Jonathan Adler.
