The 3rd Graffiti Fine Art in Sao Paulo city

The 3rd Graffiti Fine Art in Sao Paulo, May 2015. Tiger by Viber from Belo Horizonte.

The 3rd Graffiti Fine Art happened in Sao Paulo last May at Pavilhao das Culturas Brasileiras, Ibirapuera Park.

This city is known for its urban art as you may like to see here, or something more body expressive in here.

Back to graffiti art exhibition, it had artist from Japan, United States, England, Chile, Argentina and, of course many others from various Brazilians states. I was there, and I can tell you this time the show was higher in prestige mainly because it was moved to the Pavilion in the biggest urban park at Sao Paulo city.

Enough talking, let's see some pics.

Tinho from Sao Paulo.

The beauty of urban art was kept at the exhibition, few pieces were done while the visitors were walking around.
Besouros e Borboletas (beatles and butterflies) by Narcélio Grud from Fortaleza.

Textures by Gen Duarte from Sao Paulo.

The amazing 3D effect by Tasso from Germany.

Urban art isn't street art if you don't see political subjects.

Alexandre Keto from Sao Paulo. To the dead in Garissa, Kenya.

Bugre from Sao Paulo. About the corruption in Brazil.

The water issue in Brazil by Mundano from Sao Paulo.

This was the free bus you could ride from some specifics points in the city to get the Ibirapuera park.

More posts for you.

Romero Britto's gift to Sao Paulo

The dog at Guarulhos airport

In 2009 Romero Britto gave the Beach Ball to Sao Paulo for the 455th birthday.

The adjective loved-hated defines very well this Brazilian artist. In his own country, the most conservative people don't like his art because "it isn't art, it's an industrial product". Although in the US many others like his art, and recognize his talent too.

I think this is a controvert subject just like the videogames section in the Moma Museum, New York. It's something you should talk about in the next 5 hours flight you are. I hope it stops your talkative colleague.

Isabela: Brazilian, designer, works with automotive fabrics in the US. She did psychology college as well and had enjoyed a lot. She is living abroad for while, maybe because this she likes trends, cultures and behaviors.

Let me vent about my country...

Many Americans don't know, but this little girl is called Mafalda. His father is Joaquín Salvador Lavabo, and they are an icon from Argentina's middle class. In 2014 Mafalda celebrates her 50th birthday.

Congrats to Quino!

The ghost piano at the airport

Watching the ghost piano playing itself.

Landing at the International Airport in Atlanta we were received with music. Live music, or almost.

This piano it's at the food court and pays contemporary music like Mickael Jackson. Isn't cool?

But were is the pianist? He or she isn't there, and the piano still playing.

The mystery is about those gadgets attached to the musical instrument. Also because the musician needs to take a lunch break.

A closer look and you you'll see.

"Who" pick those musics.

May like to read about the Amazing tunnel at Detroit airport.

A Spring Break destination in SC, Charleston

Arthur Ravenel Junior Bridge

Spring break is almost here, and if you still don't know what to do, Charleston is a charming place to be. History, beaches, architecture, shopping, carriage rides, spas, golf, and the Southern hospitality. I know why is the Traveler's Readers' Choice for three years in a row.

You may prefer staying downtown to enjoy the heart of the South Carolina, and take a walk tour, carriage tour, boat tour, or bus tour to know this beautiful city. But somebody may like to be near a nice and calm beach with restaurant options just to walk in their flip flops. It really doesn't matter. Charleston has everything to you are looking for.

Check it out my photos from multiple times I've being there.

Napolitan houses (from the left chocolate, creme and strawberry).
More historical buildings and houses.

Body graffiti by Rafael Sliks

Rafael Sliks

He is the guy who doesn't like to show his face. Called as Brazilian Jackson Pollock, he has worked with famous Art Galleries, but also has painted on the walls of public buildings. This is why he has 5 legal process against him.

He explains about the conflict between polices and urban artists: "Used to be bad, nowadays is just fine".

See more here.

My Larabar project

My projects for those snow days at South Carolina were very successful. The Larabar project started when I was doing anything special in a weekend, and I saw 2 empty boxes going to the trash can. Hubby eat those bars almost everyday during the snow time.

Now the trash boxes are an exclusive agenda. It's not fancy, but I love it! I use the back of 2 boxes, just because the top were damaged for both boxes I had at home. Different colors is charming too.

Purple face and green back for a nice brand new agenda.

This is how the bending looks like.
I used a ruler to have exactly the same distance in both sides.

This was the extra 2014 filling I had from last year binder agenda.

I used a thicker white paper to make keep face and back together.
Also to make place for those pages in my agenda.

First page

Last page is a paper to order more refill.
